Last night, on the recommendation of a friend who loves Robin Williams, I wasted nearly two hours of my life watching Popeye. It was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. The plot, thin. The dialogue, awful. The sets, ugly. The musical numbers, wretched. The jokes, unfunny. Even the giant octopus Popeye battles looked like it was inflatable.

wow that movie is old. I barely remember it, but I do remember that it was a big jump for williams, who became a pretty big movie star around that time.
