SO I watched the bee movie and I got bored about 45 minutes into it... and it seems that it was popular because it was an animated movie...

Why do they make stuff like this, if you are making an animation movie at least make it good.

I haven't seen Bee Movie yet, but I'm thinking they were banking on Seinfeld's star power, not necessarily the animation. I guess most animated films are aimed at children, who will often like things we find boring or repetitive.
