shawshank by a mile for me.

i enjoyed Lucky Number Selvin, but thought that this was not his best role. He has been in many better - check out this INCREDIBLE LIST OF MOVIES - http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000151/

In my opinion, that's the best thing Stephen King ever wrote. Forget all his books about monsters, the only monsters in this story were human.

hard call on his books. I love his early stuff. Pennywise in IT scared me to death when I was younger and jack Nicolson in The Shining still gives me chills. so many good stories.
