Is a very GOOD actor. In DaVinci code is not great because of story not because of playing.

Regards

Yes, I think Tom Hanks is very interchangeable when it comes to he's acting. Although I've seen him mostly in child like/comedian films I must admit, there is a certain spark about him, when he is on film.

Fantastic actor! Just look at Cast Away. That was a rather long movie without a lot of dialogue, and for most of the movie his only co-star was a volleyball. It takes incredible skill to be able to pull that off.

He is a fantastic actor; in fact he is my favorite Hollywood actor. Loved his acting in Forest Gump and Cast Away, kind of shows the versatility in his acting.

Nice one, on bringing that film up. I had forgotten about it completetly. That was a masterpiece film. The silence made it golden.

What was really amazing about Cast Away was that even though Tom Hanks was silent throughout much of the movie, you could still understand exactly what he was thinking. Especially at the end, when he was re-adjusting to civilization, you could just see where the hunter-gatherer instincts he developed were being triggered. That was fascinating.

Well in Cast Away he was kind of over shadowed by Mr. Wilson Laughing

And the makeup artists should have won an Oscar for Wilson's "bloody handprint" face

I actually gave the bloody handprint 4.5 stars out of a possible 6.
