Ron Jeremy is one of porno's most influential names, with thousands of videos showcasing his enviable sex life. Pornstar probes Jeremy's mind, revealing monetary stinginess, cinematic dreams and surprise - sexual addiction.

Unlike most rookie documentaries, this isn't half as bad as the rest of them, primarily because Ron Jeremy is directly involved with the film. You spend some time in Jeremy's shoes, and not everything about his life comes from outsider sources, which is typical of most biographical documentaries and E! True Hollywood Story episodes. However, the film's downfall is its inability to explore beyond depthless life musings and its cheap attempt to paint Ron Jeremy as a tragic hero.

Ok, that's probably a fair point. My guess is that the film maker is, after all, a human, so, as he spent much time with Ron Jeremy, he may have felt rather sympathetic, and that could've influenced how the film was made.

I'm being honest here. I actually did not know most of the stuff covered in this film. So, this is probably why I felt ... "Oh, this is kind of interesting."

I watched this film shortly after this film came out (maybe it was the opening day ...).
