Speed
I have to say that Speed has got to be one of my all time favorite action flicks. Anyone else liked this one?

That will always be one of my favorite action movies. I didn't even like Keanu before this movie, but I fell in love with him during this one! Just such a likable character...and I think it was one of Sandra's first movies. Don't know if it was before or after the one with Sly, but she was cute in this one too. When you love both the leading characters, how can a movie go wrong? _________________ Jude

"I know we have trust Jack, but to me it looks like you're trying to get people off the bus"
My favorite line. I do have to say, they should have stopped after the first one. The sequels were a big bomb. _________________

I never bothered with the sequels. I can think of few examples of sequels that managed to outshine the original storyline. This movie - Speed - was a clever plot and a new idea - anything that duplicated it would not have been as effective. _________________

There was more than one sequel? Must have been straight to video then. I did watch the second Speed and was so disgusted that they had Sandra's character break up with Jack because he was a cop but then she's with another one? Huh? Wtf? And she acted like such an airhead in the sequel. Her character was smarter and better than that! _________________ Jude

I think this film was okay, I don't think it had that much action it it. It just involved more speeding then anything. It's okay to watch on a lazy sunday afternoon, but that's about it as far as script goes. (Well for me anyway)
