Pan's Labyrinth
I watched this movie over the weekend. It is a fascinating movie and the storyline is interesting. I don't want to give it away.
The only problem with this movie is that it is in spanish and subtitled in English. If you don't mind reading the subtitles while watching a movie, I would definitly recommend it.
My son watched this movie and cried at the end. It was a sad ending. _________________

Ya the two biggest complains were, "I didn't know this movie was subtitled", and "my child is now traumatized for life"
haha.. If people would only learn to read. _________________

I feel the same way. Why limit yourself to only movies in English when the rest of the world makes some great movies too? They're really missing out.
I actually prefer turning on subtitles and captions whenever they're available, not just because I have some mild hearing difficulties but I find they often provide interesting insights into the movie. Sometimes indistinct background conversations are captioned, or the words to a song on the radio. Sometimes even just knowing the spelling of a word or name in the movie helps you get a deeper understanding.
(Of course, you're equally as likely to find a crappy captioning job where they leave stuff out or get it wrong. Way to help deaf people!) _________________
