Watched Next (with Nicholas Cage, Julianne Moore, and Jessica Biel) and thought it rather lame.

The premise is Cris (Cage) is a small-time magician with the ability to see two minutes into the future, who attracts the attention of the government by using his powers to win at casino gambling. They want him to assist them in finding a nuclear bomb that will be detonated that very day, but he's not interested in helping. He goes on the lam, picking up a new girlfriend while he's at it, and discovers she extends the range of his powers by a few hours. New girlfriend gets captured by the European terrorists with the bomb, so he agrees to help the government if they help him rescue her. They do, he starts looking for the nuclear weapon, and is too late to stop its detonation.

Then he wakes up in his new girlfriend's arms and realizes it was just a vision of what happened that day. Thank God it was only a dream! He calls the government agents and agrees to help them look for the nuke. The end. Roll credits.

WTF?

What a cop out. No wonder they titled it Next; that's exactly what I said when I was done watching. Next!
