Man Of The Year
If you liked Wag The Dog and Bullworth, then you will like this movie. It has the same feel and it is filmed in a similar manner. The movie follows a John Stewart-like talk show host played by Robin Williams who as a joke says he is going to run for president and then he does, and then because of a computer glitch, he wins. The movie after that is almost a combo political-corporate thriller / satire on the political system in general.
I normally am not a big Robin Williams fan (other then Mrs Doubtfire, which was a good movie), but he is good in this movie because for the most part he is not completely over the top the entire time.
I would recommend seeing this movie. The entire cast, which is huge, was also very good (Chistopher Walken, Laura Linney, Lewi Black, Jeff Goldblum, etc.). Was a fun few hours! _________________

I thought it was very intelligently done and i could even see it happening in real life if one of the big TV hosts was to run. they have so much name recognition that it cwould not be that big of a leap to see them win an election. _________________

I wanted to like this movie, but actually found it boring. I didn't enjoy Wag the Dog or Bulworth either, so I guess this is just not my type of movie. _________________
