I buy DVDs. I generally get them so cheaply, it makes sense to buy them instead of rent. I usually only pay a dollar or two more than it would cost to rent them. I haven't been to the theater in years. _________________

I do 90% of my movie viewing by DVD via Netflix. Its easy, convenient and I don't have to pay 5 bucks for popcorn. _________________ http://www.bobcatsplanet.com

Netflix for me... I only buy DVDs if I REALLY like the movie and plan on watching it over and over. _________________

I used to do NetFlix but now I support my locally owned video store instead.
We also attend movies at the local theatre about seven or eight times a year. It's a one screen theatre with a great ambiance - and again it supports local business. _________________

I often buy DVDs as I tend to re-watch them quite a few times over the years, so in the long run, I guess it works out cheaper than renting a film several times.
But, unless it's something I really want, I tend to wait a while until the price drops on a DVD before I buy it. _________________

I used to rent .. then moved to buying previously owned - now it's downloading and sometimes buying depending on the movie.. _________________ You're so jaded.. and I'm the one who jaded you..

Well, now that the grocery stores have those $1 new release DVD kiosks, I have mostly been renting lately. If I want to see a new movie, will try to catch it at the drive-in. I only go to the theater if I absolutely must see a movie as soon as it comes out. Just too expensive nowadays. Other than that, I'll buy the DVD if I even remotely like the movie! _________________ Jude

If I really like the movie, I will get it on Blu-Ray/DVD, else I will probably see it on Cinemax/HBO/Stars on Television. _________________
