So do these people annoy you or do you play with them?

One of the best things to do to them is to stall them and keep asking stupid obvious questions then at the end tell them you will buy the product for 20 magic beans.

Personally I love this method, but sometimes they take it really well and just say "sorry to have waited your time" then hang up...... silly spoil sports

Telemarketers are a pain in the backside for sure, but sometimes it's good to have a little fun.

Have you tried the "hang on, whilst I put you through" technique (and then just put them on hold forever)? And, when they phone back, apologise and say something must have gone wrong, and you'll put them through again...

We got ourselves taken off their lists, so we never get calls from telemarketers. However whenever we do get a call (rarely) I take the opportunity to mess with them a little.
