I really wanted to see that movie. Have not seen it yet. Pat Riley was actually a player on that Kentucy team that played Texas Western.
Pretty well known story in Texas.

Yeah, it was news to me. I had to find out like a newb through the movie. Riley also shows up in the Special Features for a split second to comment on Texas Western.
If you enjoy dramatic sports films, it deserves a rental. It's moreso in the league of Friday Night Lights than Coach Carter. _________________

I rented this movie a couple weeks ago. It was really well done. Probably one of the better sports movies of the last decade. If you liked Remember the Titans, you would like Glory Road _________________ History Forum

I really enjoyed this movie, I thought it had a great message to it and just thought the actors did a good job. _________________

This was an excellent movie, slight twist on in the movie that it made it look like everything took place in the first season he was at Texas Western. I believe it was actually his third year there.
Still a great movie shedding light on some great sports history. _________________
