But how? To download movies within a reasonable time frame, you need something that's faster than cable/DSL modem. The next best thing is a T1 line, but T1 lines are pricey and restricted to businesses. Even so, one T1 line is used to operate several computers at the same time. In the end, the speed straggles out to that of a cable modem.
And if you think T1 lines are gonna get cheaper, it's remained the same price - if not steadily climbing in the last decade, as cable modems have.
But just look how much has changed in terms of how we access the internet in the just the past 10 years. Who knows what's going to happen in the next 30 or 40... I don't, but I'm pretty sure we'll continue to see major improvements?
