I actually quite like the Rocky movies even though they're a bit cheesey. The music is quite motivating and always good for a work-out!

I think the thing that makes them cheesey is that they're kind of predictable. More often than not, Rocky is going to win come the end (not always, I know).

Rocky triumphs at the end of the movie, but he actually loses his match. He does not win money or title, but what he achieves is great success. The process in which you attain the result of it is success, in my definition , and I think that's what makes this movie classic.

I love 1st part. Rocky 1 is the great, and others are just good. I would say it in that way.
