Paradise Lost: Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills
Paradise Lost is a fantastic documentary that follows the legal case of three teenagers who were accused of murdering three boys at Robin Hood Hills. Here's the kicker: the prosecution's main weapon to convict the teenagers is their predilection to wearing black and listening to Metallica.
This isn't like the other serial killer documentaries. Paradise Lost captures the spectacle of a small Southern community, which gets lost in a chilling witch hunt because they're convinced that the brutal murders were the result of a Satanic ritual carried on by three adolescent misfits. The film may be inclined the portray the teenage suspects in an innocent light, but it doesn't exclude the evidence that also gives the viewers the right to question what really happened that night in the woods of West Memphis, Arkansas.
Easily the best documentary I've seen in a while.
