The BreakUp
I'm unsure if this is in the right forum since it was hardly funny(plus I'm tired).
The BreakUp starring Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston(sorry if I spelled their names wrong) was a huge disappointment.
I didn't think it was possible for Vince to be this "unfunny". I've never been a fan of Jen, but she wasn't very good either.
Plot was mediocore. Not really anything to it.
Basically if you saw the preview, you saw the movie.
Anyone else see this tragedy?

It looked funny in the previews, and a lot of my friends attest that it is an overall good comedy. However, they also say that the comedy shuts down in the last half hour and the movie turns into something else.
The Breakup was a box office success so it did wonders for Jennifer Aniston's movie career, which has been on a downwards spiral since Along Came Polly.

I don't know why but I really don't like Jennifer Aniston. Maybe just because I hate Friends. But I don't find her especially attractive either.

Well most people consider her one of the most beautiful women alive.
It's funny because everyone says she looks "friendly." She's actually less friendly than the average celebrity. I've seen her on talk shows and she's very putoff-ish with the interviews. She's not funny or "friendly."

Ya I've seen her in interviews on the late shows.
Doesn't seem happy to be there is the best way I can describe it.
As for "one of the most beautiful women alive", I think its just one of those things I just don't get.

i thought it was a very good 75 minute movie -- too bad it lasted over 90 -- the end dragged sooo badly

I thought this movie was great, if you've been in a live in relationship before they hit just about everything right on the head.
The Aniston walk alone was enough to watch the movie!

Going to watch this movie this weekend. It is off the major theatres but is on our local $2 theatre. Looks good just by previews.

Yeah it looked brilliant in the previews, but I have heard so many bad reviews about it I just decided not to watch it.
I'll probably get it when it comes out on Sky Box Office, but I'm not particualary excited about it any more.
