The script does not make sense logically. Intolerable Cruelty apparently tries to create many twists, but they are all convoluted, and the ending actually does not make sense logically. Everything else collapses as a result.
It was fluff. I dove in expecting an authentic romantic comedy. Someone had actually told me the Farellys were behind it. Upon enduring the cruelty, it turned out it was the Coen Brothers, not the Farelly Brothers.
Not to mention, I always thought Fargo was hugely overrated.
