I hate that sound effects companys rely so heavily on old sound bytes. I mean, ever hear a semi drive by in a movie? It's always the same honk! [short beep, short pause, long doppler fading beep]
In Commando, a nice yellow car gets "totaled" on one side, next scene, it doesn't have a scratch!
Characters that wear glasses, their face isn't distorted because they are not lenses, just glass. And when they move about, reflections are not in perspective, it's flat. _________________ ~Dave

Heh, I don't think anyone really honks like that. I usually give people a short honk, just to wake them up, but if they're blatantly disregarding everyone around them, I drive by and give them a nice, looong honk as I cut 'em off and blaze forward. But sometimes I get held on a red light as soon as I cut 'em off, in which case, I glare at them through my rear view mirror for the remaining period... and then I blaze and go back to the future. _________________

Do you mean someone who drives every other day? If that's the question, the answer is no. I drive daily, though not as frequently as I did before the oil price hike. I guess on Sundays, I try and stay home. _________________

Or even worse, glasses that don't even have any, erm, "glass".
Here in the UK, there's this short squeaky little baby laugh that tends to end up in 99% of adverts that features babies. _________________

Semi = semi-articulated truck. _________________
