Nicholas Cage

Not sure if you've heard this news, but Nicholas Cage has just bought himself an island in the Caribbean...

A lot of celebrities buy an island or two. It's pretty common. However, quite a few of them go bankrupt, and this is also pretty common.

Yeah, it's fairly common... Richard Branson has a few and, by the sounds of it, Nicholas Cage's new neighbours are all island owned by celebrities.

Location: The area of your back you can't reach.

Are these islands inhabited by anyone or anything?

BTW: Celebrities also purchase land on various planets. Rolling Eyes

The one Nicholas Cage has bought isn't inhabited. It hasn't been developed yet.

If he's smart enough he won't get bankrupt, even if some did in the past. I have to say that I'd buy myself an island to if I had the money .. a bit more privacy than normal since the paparazzi do make their life miserable.

I like visiting secluded places from time to time, but I'm not too crazy about the idea of living in a remote island even if I had so much money to spend.

One of my favorite actors. love just about everything he is in - EXCPET the wicker man which is a terrible movie on all levels.

Nicholas Cage can practically play any role. Hell, he's ghost rider in the upcoming movie.

I am actually pretty curious about this movie. I loved the comic book and an unsure if it will translate well to the screen. From the commercials I have seen it looks like they are mixing in a lot of humor, so that will be good to see.

The Rock and Gone in 60 Seconds are 2 of Cage's best!

I quite like Cage, but he is quite wooden. I think he plays villians better than heroes, but Ghost Rider looks worth a watch.
