I've watched this one and I think it's great. I think the score is superb.

I read the book first and was extremely disappointed by the movie.

I've not seen the movie, and don't think I would want to just by how the trailer looks. The books are far more exciting and adventurous then the movie by a long shot as noted, through all the reviews on this movie so far. I feel there's also a kind of Hollywood feel to it like Armagedon and Titanic, and for me that just puts me right off.
