I like the first part. Second part is not bad, but the first part is 100% better. What do you think?

I didn't know Lolita was directed by him Smile

I studied the book at school so I expected the movie to be as shoking as the novel. Still it was quite "decent" and not as "hot" as I would have guessed starting from the book. Having a girl in such a serious role and situations would have led to some shocking images. Still the movie was not offensive at all.

I can't recall another movie directed by him, so this would be my pick for a favourite Wink

The Shining by far. When I think Stanley Kubrick, that's the movie that comes to mind. It's one of my favorite horror flicks, if not my fave.

He was one of the best directors ever IMO.
His best movie? I can't choose between A Clockwork Orange or The Shining. Both movies are brilliant masterpieces.
