Mission: Impossible III

So did anybody see this movie yet? I did and it completely blew me away. It was so action-packed and exciting, went way above my expectations. What did the rest of you think?

I think it was the same for me to. It is hard to keep a good Sequel going and it did a wonderful job of that.

Interesting!

I can't wait to see the movie...I've definitely got high expectations for it, but one of my buddies said it was terrible Sad

I guess only time will tell

I have heard a lot of people thinking it was terrible... I guess it just depends on what kind of movies you like. I can't wait till it comes out on DVD.

I haven't seen it, but there have been a couple here at work that say it was a waste of $10. Just pure action, no story. I liked the first one, and liked the second one less. I am not even going to both seeing this one until someone here at work buys the DVD and I borrow it from them

I doubt it is even worth the rental fess.

I'll have to give it a rent. Tom Cruise is a good actor, but I just don't like the guy's narcissistic personality.

Got some hush-hush intel about M-I 3. In the final version, Keri Russell plays his girlfriend/wife/partner/whatever. Originally, they picked Scarlett Johansson. Why didn't she go for it?

Official Version: She was busy shooting Match Point

The Truth: She was sick and tired of his Scientology propaganda on the set. Makes sense, haven't read one single interview with that guy where he didn't start talking about his "awesome religion"... And he was about to eat the placenta after his child was born. (he was quoted in GQ magazine saying he thought the placenta and umbilical cord would be "very nutritious"). In the end he realized, no wait a minute he didn't realize shit, they just put him under pressure (an act like that might fuck up the M-I 3 box office), so he said he was "joking". But really, inside he was dying.... he just missed his "nutricious" meal....

I think Scarlett would have been too young for him anyways. He doesn't look his age, but he still looks a lot older than Scarlett.

Wow, that is pretty weird about the placenta and umbilical cord. I wish he would just leave his scientology junk to himself, because I love his movies but I don't like how he's making himself so publicised about all this.
