Stupid Internet Company

Had a problem with my internet company today. Rang them and said that it wasn't working, i couldn't surf the net, nor clear emails.

The guy asked me if i'd sent an email to the help desk. Rolling Eyes

Well, someone answered the phone at least. Look at other services like banking services; they don't even let you talk to a real person until you make 50 selections by pushing buttons.

LOL i didn't say it was easy to get hold of them! That took about 20 minutes!!!

That's terrible. When I call my host company, I am aggravated before I call (I typically find a problem, and the problem should have been resolved by the host company, IMO. This is why I am aggravated). But it doesn't take 20 minutes for me to talk to a real person and start pointing out their incompetence. Banks and credit card companies are terrible; they just provide one of the worse phone services.

It was terrible, i was not at all impressed. I was so not impressed i have now changed to a different internet compant (who by the way answered my call in about 1 minute)

I might be being a little cynical here, but many companies treat new customers all right, but they change their attitude after a couple of months. My host company, for example, provided pretty good service when I signed up. Now their service is mediocre at best.

I don't think you get customer service ANYWHERE now... tried going to mcd's lately?

Mcd's? Are you talking about Macdonald's? If so, they only sell garbage there (quite literally to a certain extent).

That customer service representative was probably trying to increase his # of "resolved" calls per hour by getting you off the phone without solving your problem. The email help desk might have just told you to call Rolling Eyes
