I have the Criterion edition of this movie. I enjoyed most aspects of the movie, but I think it's one of those movies where you need to see it multiple times to take in everything. I thought there were some truly creepy elements in the movie. Even with all of the special effects available to us today, I can't think of a more eery depiction of Death than in this movie.
