It's a good thing indeed
but the forums need to be worked a bit more. I find posting here to be an ordeal without a quick reply box and some "ammenities" installed here. The content is one of the best in the movie forums I have seen. Excellent topics and ideas (as in all your projects), but the looks are not inviting for new people and the fact we have little customization is a killer.
I don't want to offend you at all, it's an awesome project, but the usability is low. We need an avatar to distinguish ourselves (and it's not a bandwidth killer), a quick reply box and 2-3 other hacks that would make the forums way more inviting. _________________

You're not the first one to mention about this. One member told me that black background color makes text a bit difficult to read. Do you agree? _________________

The background is not such a problem, maybe if the colour for the light fonts (that grey) would be even closer to white, it will be a great thing.
My ideas would have something to do with that dreaded quick reply box, avatars, and something worked on the header. An image of some sort that could be even more inviting ... I'd make the layout a bit more narrow (not much, just a bit) and work a bit on the colours.
The site is excellent as I said before, but forumers are spoiled indeed and want features and a lot of our visitors still judge our projects from the graphics point of view. No matter how much we keep telling them to judge a book from other perspectives than the cover, a nice cover still sells books _________________

Hmmm ... how about just making the background white and the font color black? It's simplistic but I prefer to pick what works.

That's a tough order since AdSense takes some place. Do you have any suggestion? _________________
