Redford, Newman for movie reunion?
It has been revealed that 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid' stars Robert Redford and Paul Newman could team up again on the big screen in the future.
Speaking to Reuters, Redford said that many years had passed and that faced with film ideas that were "corny and kind of low grade" the duo had decided that an onscreen reunion wouldn't happen.
But he said that now there was a project that the duo were talking about.
"And the real question is whether he can remember his lines or not," 68-year-old Redford joked about Newman, who turns 80 this year.
Earlier this year media reports linked the two to an adaptation of the Bill Bryson book 'A Walk in the Woods', but Redford said he was superstitious about giving further details of projects that were not finalised.
"I think Paul and I are probably alike in that we're reluctant to talk about something that is not real yet, but we are talking about it," Redford told reporters in New York, while publicising his new film 'An Unfinished Life'.
