Rather thin on plot, this two hour homage to Jane Austen was almost more like a book report than a movie. Clearly we're supposed to associate the five woman and one man of the impromptu book club with Austen's plucky heroines (and love interests) but I think it falls flat; we're not in Victorian England anymore, Toto
