What an intense movie. brought back all of the terrible memories from that day.
It is a hard movie to watch for a lot of reasons and it is very sad.
It is also easy to see how the confusion of the air traffic controllers and the authorities in the country happened in those crazy 30 minutes when they had to figure out what was going on with the over 4000 planes in the sky and not knowing which was hijacked or not. And they were losing communication with planes all over - what a nightmare.
Obviously some of the scenes on the plane are made up because there is no way the movie makers could know exactly what went on. But it is amazing to see how many people were able to make calls to their families and loved ones to say good by and tell them what was going on.
Watching this movie you HAVE TO remember that this was all PRE what we now call "9-11 security" and we were just not set up with the security measures we have in place today. I fly an incredible amount for business and before 9-11 I could have taken virtually anything with me onto a plane (with the exception of a gun, etc), so I can see how they were able to get the weapons and bomb like materials on with them.
what a movie. It should be seen by everyone. I highly recommend it, but know in advance how hard it is to watch and how sad it is.
It still makes me very angry watching it and reminds me of that morning when I sat crying in my restaurant before we were scheduled to open watching CNN on the TV's. We never opened that day.... _________________

right and 100% correct. A lot of that movie is a guess of what was going on actually on the plane and from the info the phone callers were telling their families, but like you said, we will never ever actually know what happened up there in the air. _________________

The movie was powerful in many regards and it portrayed the passengers on the flight as the heroes they were. As for it being accurate we will never fully know. Nonetheless - a good movie and worth watching.

Weren't there 2 of these movies made at the same time? I think I watched the one made for TV, which I doubt is as good as the theatrical version. Maybe one of these days I will rent that one. _________________ Jude

This isn't the type of movie an American would watch looking for thrills. _________________

I watched this for the first time a few months ago and I have got to admit it is a really sad true story, it had me in tears by the end, people knowing they was going to die or possibly die but still fighting to stay alove by fighting the terrorists, I have got to agree though if you think about watching this movie for for entertainment reasons then it's the wrong movie to choose, I 100% agree with the above though, even though this movie was created from the information from blackboxes etc nobody will ever know that day what really happened on those planes apart from the people that died on that tragic day _________________
