I did watch the entire movie(video), but I can kind of understand why many people feel that the movie is slow.

And I can understand why many feel it's a fine film, but the subject matter was of little interest to me. Oh well, different strokes and all that. Very Happy

Actually I didn't feel that it's a fine film, but to be fair, it is probably because I'm not really into religion, in particular, Christianity. Maybe those who have great understanding of Christianity can appreciate the film.

Yeah, that covers me as well. Robert Duvall was very good, and so were all the supporting actors, but I'm not really too interested in religion either, and I'm not Christian. That's exactly why the film didn't grab me.

It wasn't The Apostle, by chance, was it? I rented that. I made it through a half hour before I turned it off.

I don't remember what the name was. It would be too painful to remember.

We need to start another thread, Movies you rented and couldn't get through the first 15 minutes. Mine would include Natural Born Killers.
