I cnt think of an execptionally good one - but I can think of a bad one, the scene in Die Another Day where James Bond surfs that giant wave, omg that was horrendous..

Stripe. Solders(?) line up and go through this military stuff. How do you call it? You know, you swing around your rifle, turn around and stuff.

Some of the best scenes:

The "Am I Funny" scene in Goodfellas.

The moment in Jaws when you finally see the shark.

Darth Vader revealing his relationship to Luke Skywalker.

Oh, this reminds of the scene from Taxi Driver

Travis Bickle: You talking to me? You talking to me? You talking to me? Then who the hell else are you talking to? You talking to me? Well, I'm the only one here. Who do the f*** do you think you're talking to? Oh, yeah? Ok.

That's a great one, CK!

Another wonderful scene: Alec Baldwin's cameo as the motivator in Glengarry Glen Ross.

How about the scene in Shawshank Redemption where they discover the tunnel behind the poster?

Or the Russian water tentacle scene in The Abyss?

Not the greatest, but one that has stuck with me from recently is the Eastern Promises Spa Fight scene.

This is such a difficult question to answer. There are so many great scenes. But one that ranks up there with me is the scene from Trans, Planes & Automobiles where Steve Martin gets back to the Marathon car rental desk to complain that he has keys to a car that isn’t there.

That movie is totally underrated, but it's excellent, IMO. Nice choice, VYC.

The battle scenes in the Lord of the Ring.
Very impressive. Special effects were awesome.
Also, the new King Kong movie has some very good scenes.
