300 Spartans movie

300 is a great movie full of visual effects and graphics which made it different and much better.
Acting was great, director did a wonderful job and chose great actors, full of action, and it is based on a true story.

I liked it a lot also, but was completely blown away by the graphics. movies are really blurring the lines between comics and live action now to a new level that has never been seen before.

I watched this the other night, the visuals are stunning.

The plot is very basic, but the acting and dialogue are superb, as is the action and graphics. This is a new breed of action movie, and far less patronising than Van Damme-esque rubbish.

It appears to be the way 'action movies' are going. Very highly stylised, take the Yimou Zhang films for example. People want a bit more creativity than just car chases and explosions these days, which is a good thing.

Good luck to Rambo IV. Wink Twisted Evil

i think Sly is going to have a problem with that film. Even Rocky did not do that well. He is living in the past and unfortunately his comeback is not something that people are getting behind and getting passionate about. I think the difference with Sly is that he was always a comic book character of himself and now he is just an older ... joke. I like him, but....

On another forum I visited the members were complaining that the film wasn't historically accurate! Shocked
