I just re-watched this film on HBo a couple of months ago, and I was very impressed with Mira Sorvino's acting. It was clear to see why she won the Best Actress Oscar.
Kind of a tangent here. Normally, when I see films, I do my best to judge them on their own merit, and not on the personal lives of the people involved in their making. That said, am I the only person who has a hard time with Woody Allen films since all the Mia/Soon Yi stuff? The guy just creeps me out, and I find it hard to watch him play a romantic lead.
